Ruth Leswing Obituary
Ruth, E. (nee Fuchs), 93, of Allendale, formerly of Hollywood, FL and Little Ferry, passed away on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 with her daughter by her side. Raised in Saddle River Twp.by her mother the late Amanda (nee Weidman) in the home her late father Ernest Christian Fuchs built on Franklin Ave.. She was a Member of Order of the Eastern Star for 60 years formerly Celestial and then Amore Chapter #176 Bogota .
Cherished wife of the late Charles D. Leswing Sr. (1985). Loving mother of Ruth E. Mayer of Township of Washington, and the late Charles D. Leswing Jr., (2004). Beloved grandmother of John P. Mayer, and great-grandmother of Rachelle. Dear sister of Helen Kievit, the late Viola Bauserman, the late Robert Fuchs and the late Fred Fuchs.
The family would like to especially thank Patricia in the activities room at the nursing home for always treating her mother with dignity, combing her hair and always making sure she had her jewelry on. The family is eternally grateful to Felipa the night aid for her care and devotion.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, December 17, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home, 113 South Farview Avenue, Paramus, NJ. Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 AM on Friday, December 18, 2015, at the Vander Plaat Memorial Home. Interment in George Washington Memorial Park.

Deepest heartfelt sympathy to Ruth and her family. It was a privilege to have known her during our school years. She always had a smile and big "Hello" when we entered her home. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
