Samuel Zisa Obituary
Samuel S., age 93, of Dumont, entered into eternal life June 13, 2015. Beloved husband of Ann (nee Cronin). Devoted father of Sandra Volpe and her husband Raymond and Jerry Zisa and his wife Kathleen. A great joy in Samuel's life were his cherished grandchildren; Elizabeth and Rebecca Volpe. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his siblings; John, Philip and Peter Zisa, and Mildred Chippolone. Samuel was born in Hackensack, NJ to the late Angelina (nee Occipinti) and William Zisa. He was a proud Veteran serving his country during World War II as a Staff Sergeant in the U.S. Army and was employed as a produce specialist at A & P for many years. A Mass of Christian burial will be offered Tuesday, 11:30AM, St. Mary's R.C. Church, Dumont. Interment to follow at Garden of Memories, Township of Washington. Visitation Tuesday 9-11AM at the Frech Funeral Home, 161 Washington Avenue, Dumont.

"Uncle Sam" ( and "Aunt Ann")were so very kind to me after my Dad passed in 1960. He was always so much fun .He worked hard and enjoyed his family and his home and his hobbies..A life well lived. I miss you already. Susan (weiss)
