Sarah was the matriarch of a tight-knit family. She was loved and adored by all who knew her. Sarah is predeceased by her husband, Sylvester "Cy" Scro (1973), and her son, Detective Sal Scro (1969). Also gone to be with the Lord are her parents Rosa and Salvatore Benanti, and her brothers: Henry, Charles, and Anthony Benanti. She is survived by her devoted children her son, retired Detective Richard Scro, and her daughter, Rosalyn Patire and her husband Alan.
