I remember when Sheryl and her parents moved next door to my aunt. We were the same age and often played together. Later, both of us became teachers. She was a delightful child who became an exquisite adult. May fond memories of Sheryl continue to comfort her husband, mother, and all who were blessed to know her.

I was not fortunate to have met Sheryl Brown, but I feel as if I did know her through the wonderful stories from Greg who spoke highly of her. My thoughts and prayers are with her family and friends. May the memories bring you comfort.

My heart is heavy as I pray for my friend Sheryl and her husband and family. We taught together for twenty years and shared many wonderful conversations, especially about our Hilton vacations. We laughed often and shared stories about our students. I will miss Sheryl and the smile and warmth she shared every time I saw her. God Bless her and her family.

I am heartbroken that Mrs.Brown has passed. One of the BEST teachers I've ever had. She wasn't just a teacher, but a friend as well. Heaven gained a magnificent angel. My love & prayers to you, Mr.Brown as well as your family. Love, Tammy Stewart( PV class of '86)

I never had Mrs. Brown as a teacher, but when I was in the library for gym due to an injury, she always did her work there during the same period. She ALWAYS made me laugh and forget about the physical pain that I was experiencing. We would take the elevator together and we'd always laugh about the little things. I wish I did have her for math because she was a beautiful person, inside and out. Miss you, Mrs. Brown, from one FDU graduate to another <3

I had Mrs. Brown as a teacher for my sophomore and senior years. Mrs. Brown was a phenomenal teacher- tough, intelligent, and funny! She always went the extra mile to help her students and to defend them when they were upset. Thank you, Mrs. Brown for all that you have done for each and every one of your students. You will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family at this time. Heaven has gained another angel!

My son Jake had Sherly for his teacher and he quoted PV will not be the same without Mrs. Brown she was the best teacher. Heaven gained a beautiful angel. You will be surely missed friend.
