Sophie Glasgow

GLASGOW Sophie "Snooper" (nee Trusewicz) 80, of Midland Park formerly of Melborne Beach, FL and Mahwah. Entered into eternal rest on January 8, 2008. Beloved daughter of the late Felix and Jennie Trusewicz. Beloved sister of Linda Wright of Carmel, CA, Jean "Kutsie" Fairchild of Albany, NY, Valma Zak of Chester Heights, PA and Mary Trusick-Dwyer of Chester, PA. She is predeceased by brothers Thomas "Sonny" Trusewicz, Johnnie Trusewicz and sisters Josephine Hibler, Florence "Babe" Pearman and Laura "Lodgie" Snyder. Sophie was loved by many wonderful nieces, nephews and friends. Before retiring she volunteered for the Center for Food Action in Mahwah and was also a volunteer for the Veteran's Home in Paramus. Sophie also worked for the Florida Institute of Technology and the Ramapo College of New Jersey (Food Services). She was also a licensed beautician. Sophie was a parishioner of Immaculate Heart of Mary R.C. Church in Mahwah. Visitation will be held on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Van Emburgh-Sneider-Pernice Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Ave, Ramsey. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Saturday January 12, 2008 at 10 AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary RC Church in Mahwah. Interment will follow at Mahwah Cemetery in Mahwah.
