Theodore De Bruin

De BRUIN - Theodore age 86 quietly crossed over into eternal life on Sept. 12, 2006 at the Christian Health Care Center in Wyckoff, New Jersey. Born in Paterson, NJ he was later raised in Fair Lawn. Serving in the US Navy during WW II, he returned to the US with his Australian bride. Settling in Clifton and then eventually in Wyckoff, he retired from Continental Can in Passaic, NJ. He formerly attended the Madison Ave. Christian Reformed Church in Paterson. He is survived by two sons: Robert and Gregory, both of Wyckoff; his sister, Dorothy E. De Bruin of Fair Lawn; and his two sister-in-laws, Mrs. Dora Courts and Mrs. Peggy Jack both of Western Australia. He was predeceased by his wife of fifty five years, Mary, and his parents Charles and Emma De Bruin of Fair Lawn. Relative and friends may visit on Friday, September 15, from 6:30-9 PM at the Vander Plaat Funeral Home, 257 Godwin Ave., Wyckoff, NJ.
