Vincent DeSomma Obituary
Born in Hoboken on Nov. 21, 1941 to the late Anthony and Stella (Della Fave) DeSomma, he lived in Bloomfield and Nutley before moving to Manchester. He was self employed most of his life, owning and operating several delis and restaurants and was the owner of Vindees Coach in Nutley for 17 years before retiring in 2000.
He is survived by his daughter Dawn; his son Anthony and his brother Dennis; his companion Dolores DeVito Liloia of 38 years, and Dolores' children Christopher Liloia and his wife Maria and Russell Liloia and his wife Grace and their children Christopher Jr., Anthony, Jake and Max.
He loved cooking and Atlantic City but most of all loved family gatherings.
The funeral was to be from the S.W. Brown and Son Funeral Home, swbrownandson.com, 267 Centre St. in Nutley on Tuesday, July 31. A funeral Mass was to be celebrated at St. Anthony of Padua Church in Belleville followed by burial at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield.
At the family's request, please omit flowers. Donations to the Manchester First Aid and Rescue Squad, 29 Colonial Drive, Manchester, NJ 08759 would be preferred.
