MYERS Walter L., 89 , died June 30, 2010, absent from the body and present with the Lord, in House of the Good Shepherd, Hackettstown, NJ. Walter lived in Hackettstown, NJ for 5 years coming from Wayne, NJ and was born in Paterson, NJ on April 25, 1921.Husband of beloved wife, Elizabeth (Boonstra) Myers. Son of late Louis and Emma (Molzan) Myers.Survived by: wife- Elizabeth Myers, Hackettstown, NJ; one sister- Evelyn Kilburn, Lancaster, PA; many nieces and nephews and many great-nephews and great-nieces.He was a Draftsman for Automatic Switch Co., Florham Park, NJ and previously worked for Boonton Molding Co., Boonton, NJ and American Hard Rubber Co., Butler, NJ.He served the the US Army Air Force during WW II in the Pacific for 3 1/2 years. He was a graduate of Central High School, Paterson, NJ and Paterson Vocational School; member of the Madison Ave. Baptist Church, Paterson, NJ, taught Sunday School and was a member of its Board of Deacons; attended the Hawthorne Gospel Church. Visitation: Friday, July 2, 2010, 2:30-4 PM at the Cochran Funeral Home, 905 High St., Hackettstown, NJ 07840. Services: 4 PM following the visitation at the Cochran Funeral Home. Interment: A graveside service will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Samaritan's Purse, P.O. Box 3000, Boone, NC 28607-3000.
