William F. McAnerney Jr., 83, passed away peacefully at home in Surprise, Az surrounded by family. He is pre-deceased by his parents, William F. McAnerney Sr. and Ann Marron McAnerney, his sisters Marilyn McAnerney Toth (Robert), Catherine McAnerney O'Rourke (Kenneth), Patricia McAnerney Attardi and his brother John McAnerney. He is survived by his wife of nearly 58 years Arlene Abbott McAnerney and his children William McAnerney III (Colleen Gusler), Jacqueline McAnerney Banks (DeWayne), Diane McAnerney Conn (Mark), and David McAnerney (Heather). He had 10 grandchildren: Danielle, William, Julie, Brandon, Nicole, Melissa, Jack, Matthew, Michael, and Lilly. He also had 4 great grandchildren: Jenelle, Chase, Liam, and Ariyana. He is also survived by his sister-in-law JoAnn McAnerney (John) and brother-in-law Sy Attardi (Patricia). William is originally from Jersey City, NJ and settled in Arizona in 1984. He served in the Marine Reserves for 4 years. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and he will be dearly missed.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Bill's life at the Memorial Service at Regency Mortuary located at 9850 W. Thunderbird Blvd, Sun City, Az 85351 on Tuesday, July 27th. Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00 pm followed by a Rosary. The funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, July 28th at St. Clare of Assisi Church located at 17111 W. Bell Rd, Surprise, Az 85374 from 10:30-11:30 am.
