William A. Petransky

PETRANSKYWilliam A., 95, of Clifton on January 23, 2009. Born in Passaic, William lived in Wallington before moving to Clifton 56 years ago. An Army Veteran of WW II, he was a member of the Pavlick-Koster VFW Post #2640, Wallington. William was a Warehouse Supervisor for Raybestos-Manhattan Rubber, and UniRoyal in Passaic for 40 years, retiring in 1973, and was a parishioner of St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, Clifton. Beloved husband of the late Violet (Bolka) who died in 2007. Dear brother of Edward Pietranski of Wallington, Lee Kulakowski of Hasbrouck Heights, Joan Griffith of Bloomfield, and the late Cassie Sek and Theodore Petransky. Loving uncle of several nieces and nephews. Funeral Tuesday 10 AM at the Shook Funeral Home, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton, and 11 AM at St. Philip the Apostle RC Church, Clifton. Interment, St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi. Visiting Monday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. If desired, donations to the charity of your choice, would be greatly appreciated.
