Yolanda Marie Stephan of Clifton, NJ, passed away on Friday, August 20, 2021, at the age of 87.

Yolanda was born in Brooklyn, NY on June 6, 1934, to the late Giovanni and Rosa Dellamura. Yolanda was fond of her childhood in Brooklyn, growing up alongside her siblings Tess and Frank Dellamura and multiple cousins.

She is survived by her two sons, Nicholas and his wife Sue-Ellen, Mark and his wife Vikki; and six grandchildren, Ryan, Taylor, Nicole, Matthew, Dan D'Dargenio, and Diana Itzen (Husband, Greg). She is also survived by three great-grandchildren, Louisa, Lorelai, and John.

Yolanda will be remembered as a great Mom and Grandmother, as she always placed family first. She loved to host gatherings of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends at her home in Clifton which she resided in from 1958 through the end of her life.

Yolanda had a handful of jobs throughout her life, but her time as a paraprofessional was her favorite. She was an advocate for education for her own children, her students, and the community.

Church Memorial Services at Our Lady of Hope Roman Catholic Church 61-27 71st Street Middle Village, NY 11379 (718-429-5438) on Saturday August 28th at 9:45 a.m. followed by entombment at St. John's Cemetery 80-01 Metropolitan Avenue Middle Village, NY 11379 (718-894-4888)

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or any Special Education programs you are fond of.

When I come to the end of my road and the sun has set for me. I want no rites in a gloom filled room. Why cry for a soul set free! Miss me a little, but not too long and not with her bowed low. Remember the love we once shared, miss me but let me go. For this journey we all must take, it is part of the Master plan, a step in the road to take home. When you are lonely and sick of heart, go to family and friends we know and bury your sorrows in doing good deeds. Miss me but let me go.
