Jeanne Louise Blink, the daughter of Joseph McNertney and Laura Millie, was born on December 13, 1933, in Ponca, NE. It was here that she received her education and graduated from High School.
On January 9, 1960, Jeanne married Donald Joseph Blink in Sioux City, Iowa. Following their marriage, they remained in Sioux City until moving to Ottumwa, IA and later to Spencer, IA in 1970. Jeanne worked as an Activities Director at Northshire Residence in Spencer for 25 years. In her spare time, Jeanne enjoyed cooking, entertaining, playing Bridge and socializing with her friends. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.
On December 1, 2024, Jeanne passed away in Spencer at the age of 90. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Don on February 15, 2004.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Julie Moulton of Stillwater, MN, David (Sarah) Blink of Longmont, CO and Greg Blink of Montana; her grandchildren: Laura Moulton of Stillwater, MN, David Moulton of Somerset, WI, Kenzie (Nick) Rorman-Blink of Denver, CO, Carter Blink of Austin, TX and Gabby Blink of Dallas, TX; her brother, Bobby McNertney and sister, Nancy Kneifel; special friend, Sarah Johnson; as well as other relatives and many friends.
Everyone is invited to a reception at the Spencer Golf & Country Club following the graveside service.
