Send FlowersIt is with profound sadness that we share the peaceful passing of Jeffery Allen Brown, on Sunday, Sept. 28, 2025, at CHP Defiance Inpatient Hospice Center, surrounded by his loving family.
Jeff was born on May 23, 1962, in Defiance, Ohio, to the late Robert G. And Joann (Healy) Brown. He was a 1981 graduate of Holgate High School and attended Four County Career Center.
Jeff joined the Air Force in 1984 and served his country for 30 years, 10 years in active duty and 20 years at the 180th Air National Guard base in Toledo. Jeff was able to see the world in the Air Force and had so many great stories he loved to share. Jeff retired as a Senior Master Sergeant from the Air Force in 2014 and began working for Pioneer Vending.
On July 15, 2005, Jeff went to a Jimmy Buffet tribute show in Deshler and met the love of his life, Robin S. Rader. They were married in McComb on July 1, 2006.
Jeff is survived by his loving wife, Robin S. Brown; his sons, Lucas (Hannah Myers) Brown, Garrett Inbody, Jordan (Alyssa Schnipke) Inbody, and Austin Inbody and daughter-in-law Brittany Brown; by his grandchildren, whom he adored, Brier, Charli and Kizer Inbody, Ryker and Slade Inbody, Emmy Brown, Peyton and Carter Geahlen, and Hannah Brinkman and Katie Schnipke; by siblings Sarge and Sharon Brown, Marsha Mast, Karen Jobe, Brenda Dye and Lori Hoops.
He is also survived by his beloved in-laws Robin and Dixie Rader, and his wife's family, and, his puppy, his pretty girl Winnie. Jeff leaves behind so many beloved friends, he will be dearly missed.
Jeff was preceded in death by his son, Dustin J. Brown, on Oct. 30, 2012.
Friends and family will be received from 2-8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 3, 2025, at the Feehan-Rodenberger Funeral Home, Deshler. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 4, 2025, at the funeral home with Rev. David Orr officiating. Graveside services with military honors will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Deshler.
Memorials may be made to Shalom at St. John's UCC, Holgate, Napoleon American Legion Post #300 or to the family.
