Bessie Mae Harris April 15, 1932 - April 23, 2008 COLCHESTER - Bessie Mae Harris, 76 of Colchester passed away on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at the Harrington Court Genesis Elder Care in Colchester. She was born on April 15, 1932 in Cassett, S.C., the only child of the late Mac and Cathron Reeves Harris. Bessie was a graduate of Bacon Academy, class of 1954. She worked for may years in the Hartford area as an insurance company clerk. Bessie loved God and her church. She spent most of her time and life serving God. She was predeceased by her parents and grandmother, maronda Reeves. She leaves a host of cousins and friend who will sadly miss her. Memorial Services will be held on Thursday at 11am at the Belmont Funeral Home, 144 South Main St., Colchester. There are no calling hours.
