Brigitte Georgette (Pensis) Duncan DIED Jun. 30, 2014 WINDSOR LOCKS - Brigitte Georgette (Pensis) Duncan, 44 of Windsor Locks passed away unexpectedly June 30, 2014 at her home. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday July 8, 2014 at 12:00 PM at St. James Poquetanuck Church, 95 Rt. 2A, Preston CT 06365; burial will follow at Maplewood Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to call at Church and Allen Funeral Home, 136 Sachem Street, Norwich on Monday evening from 5-8 P.M. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to her family to help take care of her youngest children. Donations can be made at any Bank of America branch into the account named "Amber and Jessica Berthod, for Hannah and Travis" or may be mailed to Hannah and Travis, C/O Jessica Berthod, 24 Newfield Ave., Hartford, CT 06106. To The family and mutual friends... I loved Brigitte like a sister. We were inseparable all through high school. I am very sorry that I didn't pay my respects at the time of her death. Our mutual best friend advised me of this today. May you all find peace and hold onto the beautiful memories. We had a wonderful upbringing, and childhood that was fun. We danced, skated and I even ran into her a few times after high school, at Mr. Bigs or Shop Rite. I ran into her at Walmart, and we always picked up where we left off.
Brigitte you may be gone... But will never be forgotten. I will love you sis forever... Until we meet again!

We were all saddened at Masonicare to lose such a loving person. She was beloved by her patients and the staff that worked with her. She was quiet but kind and gentle. I did not have the pleasure of knowing her well but I saw the reaction of those that did to her loss and I saw that she was a special person. Brigette was my grandmother's home health aide. She was an extremely kind and generous person and we will miss her. There are no words to express the sadness we felt when we heard the news of Brigette's passing. May god bless and hold each of her family members in his embrace.
