Daniel Mark O'Connell Feb. 5, 1943 – Nov. 26, 2014 NORWICH - Daniel Mark O'Connell, 71, of Norwich died Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital in Hartford. Daniel was born in Norwich on February 5, 1943 son of the late Anthony Wayne O'Connell and Alice (Jolie) O'Connell. Dan was united in marriage to Florence Barbara Wincze on December 27, 1969 in Windsor, Conn. Florence Barbara O'Connell survives her husband of 45 years. Dan was educated at NFA and attained his many degrees from the University of Hartford and worked for many years in the Norwich School System. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Steven and Ann Wincze of Canton, Conn., and numerous cousins. He was predeceased by a brother, Anthony O'Connell, Jr. in 2002. Funeral and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
