Deepest condolences to family and loved ones. Dave and I were quite good friends in high school. I remember many times (unsuccessfully) arm wrestling him - and he let me use both hands to his one. I am saddened to hear of Dave's passing, but I am, as I trust you are, comforted by fond memories of him.

To Daves Family,
We are very sorry to hear this news, we knew Dave for many years and had the pleasure of working with him when we were in the Laborers Local, I had some great talks with Dave back when I worked with him, when you got to know Dave you really relized how sweet of a person he was.
Our thoughts of Deepest Sympathy are with you at this time.

Mr. Pupa was my neighbor on Willey St. Great guy! I remember the calm voice, the forearms, the arm wrestling, the bible and the black belt. May you always cherish his memories! I am sorry for your loss.

Dave Pupa had a great sense of wisdom, consideration and passion toward others. He was a very kind and a true gentle giant. He was also the strongest man in the history of Norwich. Also considered by many as to be one of the strongest human ever lived. To the Pupa family sorry for your great lost

Dave and I worked together at the Norwich Bulletin stuffing the weekly ads into the funny papers in the very early '70's. One snowy night working late Dave with in the fback (heavy side) and three of us other guys in the front picked up a friend's Volkswagen Beetle and placed it between two 10 foot high piles of snow. We laughed so hard when its owner came out and realized he'd never move the car and try to guess how it got there. That is a story I tell when I reminisce about old times and old friends. God Bless You, Dave.

My heart goes out to the Pupa family. I had known David in and out of high school. He was a man I always admired and looked up to when I knew him. May he rest in peace.
