Dennis Ritchie Obituary

Dennis M. Ritchie 1945 - 2021
Brooklyn - Dennis M. Ritchie, 75, of Brooklyn, passed away peacefully on May 25, 2021. He was the son of John and Yvette (Martin) Ritchie of Brooklyn, CT. Dennis attended St. James School and Killingly High School.
After high school Dennis entered the Marine Corps. He worked at Rogers Corporation and then Cliff Green and Sons until his retirement. He is survived by his wife of 52 years Toni (Currier) (Chattelle), his son Brian and his wife Cynthia, grandchildren, Julia, Jarred, Jenny, and Jacob, a daughter Kathleen Ritchie, sister Joan Kowaleski of Fla., and Diane (Richard) Allen of Brooklyn.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, June 3, 2021 from 5-7 pm at Tillinghast Funeral Home, 433 Main St., Danielson. tillinghastfh.com

Dennis was one of the moments my mom enjoyed every Wednesday - having lunch at Hanks and catching up with each other. Our Wednesday lunches will not be the same, but we will remember the laughter and the “catching up”. Rest In Peace, Dennis. ❤
