Estelle McCORMICK Obituary
CHUGIAK, ALASKA - Estelle (Sami) McCormick, died August 12, 2018. Sami was born in Norwich, Connecticut on January 12, 1925. In 1969 she married David McCormick and in 1972 they moved to Chugiak, Alaska after visiting her sister who lived in Palmer.
She is preceded in death by her husband David, parents Rose and Marshall Surprenant and her siblings. She is survived by her children Charles Tetreault of Alaska, Charlene Gill of California, Dodie Granofsky of Virginia, along with 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life gathering will be held on Tuesday, August 21st, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at the Chugiak-Eagle River Senior Center, 22424 Birchwood Loop Road, Chugiak, AK 99567.
Arrangements were made with Janssen's Eagle River Funeral Home.
