Justine, I'm really sorry for your loss and this is a loss for everyone who knew Glenn. He always brightened the day at the driving range. He was always so proud of Monica and her family and he gave me tips about being a grandfather. We'll all miss him.

To Butch's family- I was shocked and sadden when I read of Butch's passing. I also grew up in Poquonnock Bridge, which was a diverse community. Butch and I became friends due to mutual friends in the 'Project' before we were in school together. We both played in Groton's Babe Ruth League, on the Thames Electric team, our coach was Bob Falvey, a Poquonnock Bridge police detective, another good man. We were both 13, Butch was immediately a starter in the infield as well as a starting pitcher, he was so gifted. His cousin Jackie was also on the team, and the two of them carried us to the championship. At our last Fitch class reunion (50th) I got to speak with Butch for awhile; we both talked about our golf game, kids we grew up with, as well as our families. He was very happy. He still remained so very special. I hope you all will soon smile at all the great memories he created for you. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

Butch was such a dear friend and mentor. Honestly, one of the best people I've ever been around. Our families lived right up the road from each other growing up (Depot Road, Poquonneck)). My condolences go out to the entire family. Butch was the consummate gentleman, brother, best friend and the man, to everyone he grew up with. Another angel joining the ranks. Love you Butch.
