Jadon E. Z. Nicholson 1999 - 2021
Bozrah - Jadon Edward Zion Nicholson, 21, of Bozrah died early Friday morning, August 13, 2021, at Backus Hospital following a motorcycle accident. He was born in Norwich on November 30, 1999, the son of Janel Putz and Edward Nicholson.
Jadon was very proud of his job as a Shipfitter at Electric Boat in Groton as he looked at it as his way of serving his country.
He was passionate about his Harley and tinkering with all of the vehicles he owned and enjoyed. As his mother's "Wild Child", Jadon had a truly adventurous spirit and squeezed every moment out of life.
Besides his mother and father, he is survived by his grandparents Thomas and Ellen Finn and James and Wanda Putz and aunts, uncles and cousins. Jadon also leaves behind many friends and co-workers that held a genuine place in his heart. He was predeceased by his grandparents, Edward and Sheila Nicholson, and great-grandparents, Edmund and Eva Semeneshen, and an infant brother Joseph. Also predeceased by great-grandparents, Emory and Lucille Putz.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 20, at 10 am at St. John's Christian Church, 346 Shennocossett Rd., Groton. Masks will be required. Interment will follow at 12:30 at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Harland Rd., Norwich.
All attendees are invited to celebrate Jadon's life with the family at Prime 82 Restaurant, 181 W Town St., Norwich.
In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to Kelly Putz, PO Box 402, Niantic, CT 06357, for a yet to be determined scholarship in Jadon's name for young students of color pursuing a career in the trades.

Janel I just learned of the passing of your son and there are no words just the sudden weight of sorrow for you and your family. Please believe you have my sincere condolences and prayers that the heaviness in your heart will subside as the days and years goes by only to be replaced light Jadon brought into your life.

I am so sorry Janel, Ellen. Tom and all the family in the sad loss of Jadon. He was a Wonderful young man, so polite and respectful and i always enjoyed talking to him at the salon. Jadon had a Bright Light that will shine on in all who knew and Loved him. Janel, my heart breaks for you as you were such a Caring Mom to Jadon and Tom and Ellen were Loving Grandparents. Keep your Memories close to your Heart and know that you are in our thoughts and Prayers , God has an Amazing Angel in Jadon.
