Katie made everything look easy and did even the most unpleasant with a smile and a laugh. Her legacy of hard work and dedication will continue through the lives of all she knew family, friends, customers and fellow employees. She is in my book "Legendary Locals of Norwich" and I could never thank her enough for her participation.

I worked with Katie years ago at Caldor in the Norwichtown Mall. When we had huge comforters to wash in the industrial washers she was always glad to assist at James' laundromat ....she always had a great sense of humor and a huge smile and tons of energy. RIP!

Peace Be With You

Katie was a special lady who made me laugh and always made me see life in a humorous way. Every week I actually looked forward to doing my laundry just so we could chat and laugh about life's quirks. She loved her family with all her heart and was so proud of them. Rest In Peace Katie.you will be missed.

I was heartbroken to learn of your loss. Katie was such a loving, giving person who brightened everyone's day. Brandy, my chocolate lab, missed seeing her every morning at James Laundramart where Brandy would be so excited to see "her Katie". I will miss our talks and seeing the pictures of her beautiful grandchildren whom she was so proud of and loved so much. May your memories of Katie sustain you and your family during this difficult time.
