Stanley Richardson Obituary

Stanley G. Richardson July 10, 1925 - March 31, 2010 BROOKLYN - Stanley G. Richardson, 84, of Day Street, died March 31, 2010 at St. Anthony's Hospital in St. Petersburg, FL. He was the husband of the late Shirley J. Richardson. Mrs. Richardson died April 22, 2009. Stanley was born in Toronto Canada, July 10, 1925, son of the late Lewellyn and Lillian (Mosey) Richardson. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps during WWII and was honorably discharged in 1943. He was a production manager at the former Arrow-Hart Manufacturing for many years. Mr. Richardson was a lifelong member of the Danielson Church of the Nazarene. He is survived by his son Gordon S. Richardson and his companion Karen Enright of South Killingly; brother, Everett Richardson of RI; sisters, Katherine Morgan of South Killingly and Marlene Poirier of Danielson; grandchildren, Steven Richardson and Scott Richardson and great grandsons Benjamin, Jack and Max Richardson and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, April 12, 2010 at the Danielson Church of the Nazarene, Westcott Road, Danielson. Burial will be in South Cemetery, Brooklyn. A calling hour will be held at the church on Monday from 1-2 P.M. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to The Danielson Church of the Nazarene, 440 Westcott Road, Danielson, CT 06239. Tillinghast Funeral Home, 433 Main Street, Danielson is in charge of arrangements.
