There is also a feast with lots of singing in Heaven. David's voice is now among the angelic choir singing praises to the Lord and King.
May the prayers and comfort of His Love be with all of you during this time.

As far back as I can remember, David was a great friend. I can remember riding the bus to my grandfathers on Garfield table, I was in grade school, and David would make sure We got off at the right spot and that we were not picked on. I smile when I think of David, it has been awhile since I had seen him, seeing his picture again made me smile, but I am sad with his passing, I will always remember only good things with David, there were no bad. Jodi, and family, Esther, Bobby, Gary and family, I want you to know he was one of the special ones, I am so happy to of known and shared time with him, he will be missed.

I have known Dave most of my life through my Grandma and Grandpa Merce and Bob Warwick. I admired Dave for his sense of decency, his kind ways and gentle voice. I looked forward every year to when he would ask me to come and speak to the children about what a Sheriff does. You were a good friend, and great teacher, a wonderful family man. I will remember you. God Speed.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to David and his family. I will always remember the fun times my brothers and sisters had with David, Gary, and Bob when we were kids. I remember singing the song "It Only Takes a Spark to Get a Fire Going" with the youth group in a park. I still love that song and always think of the Blevin's boys when I hear it.

We were so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts and prayers of many are with you at this time of sorrow. I am so glad my three children had Mr. Blevins as a teacher. I will never forget him teaching Mark not to be afraid of the water at the NP Rec Center on one of the 2nd Grade's field trips.
