I don't even know how to write this, I am so very sad about this. I worked with Jean, back in the back at American Mortgage, for the last 2 or 3 years that she worked. She is one of the nicest people I have ever met and we worked so good together. And that is how I met Dickie, who I nicknamed 'Little Richard'. What a guy!! So many super good memories of Jean and Dickie, such good, good people. I am so blessed to have know you. God speed.

I got to know Dick in conductor class at Union Pacific Railroad. He could walk into a room and seem to get things `stirred up and going´. Everyone loved him and his sense of humor. I´ll never forget the tanking trip he and Jean Ann threw for me on my 50th birthday. We had so many great times that we all shared. Truly a good friend

Dickie was the guy I wanted to work with and be around. He made for good laughs. Working the night train with Dickie made the shift scream by. He also would speak of his grandchildren and light up, they were the world to him. We will keep him and you’all in our thoughts and prayers
