Elaine Karr

1931 - 2025

Elaine was born in Cozad, NE, to Peter and Sylvia Viig. She was the youngest of four children. She graduated from Lexington High School Class of 1949. On January 1, 1950, she married William Karr of Gothenburg. They had two sons, William Jr. and Robert. Elaine loved working as an Executive Assistant at Nebraska Machinery in North Platte. After retiring, Elaine and Bill spent almost 12 years traveling the country in their RV, making many friends along the way. After traveling, Elaine and Bill settled in Tucson, AZ, and eventually moved to Greeley, CO, to be closer to friends and family. Elaine's final resting place will be alongside her husband Bill at Fort McPherson National Cemetery, Maxwell, Nebraska, at a later date.
