Frederick Buchholz Obituary

Frederick J. Buchholz, 83, of Sutherland, passed away Sept. 13, 2010, at the V.A. Hospital in Grand Island.
He was born Nov. 12, 1926, at Columbus, to Emil A. and Clara (Grotelueschen) Buchholz.
He graduated from Bremerton High School in Bremerton, Wash., and from the University of Nebraska in 1950.
Survivors include his wife, Lois Ann; two step children, Timothy A. Morey, of Hershey, and Kimberly K. (Dennis) Hoefer, of Columbus; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; three brothers and two sisters, Mark (Christina) Buchholz, of Lincoln, Wallace (Phyllis) Buchholz, of Lancaster, Calif., Steve Buchholz, of Chula Vista, Calif., Miriam (William) Schlegel, of Chula Vista, Calif., and Prisilla Telshow, of Valparaiso, Ind.; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emil A. and Clara Buchholz; and one brother, James Buchholz.
Memorial services will be at a later date.

Uncle Fred was my guy. He made me laugh so much and was always saying nice things about me. I loved that he would do everything he could to make it to our important family events. I will miss him. My prayers and thoughts go out to you and your family.
