Carl Lee Mullins III

Carl Lee Mullins, III, 34, passed away at his home in Mt. Jackson on April 22, 2024.

Carl was born March 19, 1990, in Woodstock, Virginia, and was the son of the late Carl L. Mullins, Jr. and Cheryl (Bacon) Reynolds of Alexandria, Virginia.

Carl was a loving son, grandson, brother, nephew, and friend to many.

He graduated from Spotswood High School in 2007 and attended Concord University in Athens, West Virginia. He loved the outdoors, animals, reading, gaming, playing the guitar, and spending time with his family and pets. Carl had a kind and caring heart and was always ready to lend a hand to family and friends.

In addition to his mother, Carl is survived by his grandparents, Carl L. Mullins, Sr. and Kay Mullins, of Mount Jackson, a brother, Christian Alexander Mullins, of Woodstock, a sister, Cynthia Louise Mullins, of Arlington, an aunt, Stephanie Mullins Heffernan, and husband, Jim, of Harrisonburg, an aunt, Krista Marlatt, of Atlanta, Georgia, an aunt, Sonia Bacon, of Denver, Colorado, a grandmother, Sonia Swearingen, of Palm City, Florida, several cousins, and his beloved dog, Townes.

In addition to his father, Carl was preceded in death by his aunt, Teresa Mullins Fogle, and his grandfather, Theodore Bacon.

Memorial contributions may be made to the SPCA or a charity of one's own choice.

Arrangements are entrusted to Heishman Funeral Home Inc., Valley Funeral Service Branch, Edinburg.

Final arrangements will be private.
