Daisy Walker Obituary
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 7 at 11:00 a.m. at Maddox Funeral Home with State Patriarch Randall Bartlett officiating. Interment will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery in Front Royal.
Mrs. Walker was born August 5, 1929 at home in Fauquier County, daughter of the late Vanderbilt Cornelius Carter and Eliza Jane Butler Carter. She was the last of her immediate family and was married to the late Alonzo "Bud" Walker.
Surviving is a son, Jerry Walker and wife Ellen of Linden; three daughters, Joni Van Doren of Linden, Charmaine Walker-Lott of Luneburg, Germany and Jodie Tammy Wells of Dumfries; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two daughters, Lisa Walker and Terry Pelter; son, Rickey Price Walker; and two sons-in-law, Danny Van Doren and Carl Lott.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday, November 7 from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to your local Humane Society. Condolences may be sent to the family at maddoxfuneralhome.com

So sorry to hear of the passing of your mom. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of sorrow. Charmaine, I went to school with you in hume. I was Bobbie Atkins. I would love to hear from you. I always remember you as the little girl with the long golden curly hair. May your mom RIP.
