Dennis Hensley Obituary

Dennis "Denni" "Curley" Hensley, 54, of Rail Road Ave., Woodbridge, VA, went home to be with the Lord, Monday May 2, 2016 at the Winchester Medical Center.

Mr. Hensley was born January 15, 1962 in Fairfax, VA and was the son of the late Dessie Gilbert.

Dennis was exactly where God placed him, to save three strangers lives.

He fought the good fight against cancer. This was the hardest fight of his life and he lost.

For 30 years he was a mechanic, specializing in antique cars and winning many awards.

Surviving family include his wife of 35 years, Sherry Haberly Hensley; four children; and seven grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 6, 2016 in Duck Run Natural Cemetery, with his father-in-law, Ed Haberly officiating.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Memorial contributions can be made to Sherry Hensley at 918 Judy Lane, Stanley VA. 22851, (540)532-7220.
