Gilbert Robertson Obituary

Gilbert "Gene" Robertson, 83, of Middletown, VA passed away Sunday, September 20, 2025, at his home in Middletown.

Gene was born in Virginia on April 22, 1942, the son of the late Charles Edward and Annie Crawford Robertson. He owned and operated R&S Body Shop for many years. Cars were truly his passion in life, whether restoring or just being around them. He also enjoyed spending time with his loving family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Charles Robertson, Richard Roberston, Floyd Robertson, and Gloria Dodson.

Survivors include his wife Mary Ellen Robertson; one daughter Michelle Lee Spiker Roberston and son in law Mark; his grandchildren Samantha Johnston (Morgan), Shelby Spiker (Steven); his great grandchildren Cullin Johnston, Addysen Rodgers, and Rileith Rodgers.

A graveside service for Gene will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Middletown, VA.
