Harold Joseph "Joe" Stultz, 85, of Woodstock, passed away Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at Blue Ridge Hospice in Winchester. The funeral service will be held Friday, October 22 at 11:00 a.m. at Community Mission Church of the Brethren. Pastor Dale Bowers will officiate. Burial will follow in Sunset View Memorial Gardens in Woodstock.
Mr. Stultz was born October 25, 1935, in Woodstock, son of the late Harry and Mary Richard Stultz. He was a 1954 graduate of Central High School and an army veteran. He worked at Safeway in the Metropolitan area for 30 years. He was a member of Community Mission Church of the Brethren and former member of St. Luke - Fairview Ruritan Club.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, James Stultz and wife Patsy, Robert L. "Bobby" Stultz and wife Betty and brothers-in-law, Shirley Larkin, and James Orndorff.
Joe is survived by his wife, Margaret Lloyd Stultz whom he married on July 26, 1958; two sisters, Janet Larkin of Edinburg and Betty Orndorff of Woodstock, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Rusty Proctor, Scott Proctor, David Gochenour, Jeremy Kibler, Roger Lloyd, and Timmy Fadeley.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Valley Funeral Service in Edinburg.
