Our lives were touched by this kind man. We trusted him with precious family members and he made it a point to know each of us personally, both the furry family members and the human ones! So sorry for the loss of such a kind soul!

It was our pleasure to have known Jerry. He was a loving father-in-law to our daughter Molly and a amazing Grandy to our granddaughter, Adelaide. I will always be grateful to him for the gift of Shane! We send all our love to you and yours my sister-granny and wish we could be with you! In sympathy, Jill and Dan Mccabe

I was shocked and saddened to learn of Jerry's passing. Although I have not been to Winchester for some time and had not seen Jerry in person in recent years, I have heard from many of our classmates of his fine reputation as a veterinarian. I want to express my deepest sympathy to Tish and all the other members of the family. I also regret that I will not be able to attend the funeral service. Ironically I will be delivering the eulogy at the funeral service of my law partner's son at the same time and same day in Stuart, VA. I have been recovering from chemo therapy treatment for cancer and have not been able to make the trip to Winchester during the past year. I hope to be able to come up there this spring to have a chance to express my sympathies to the family in person.
With great sadness and deepest sympathy, I offer my sincere condolences to all of Jerry's family.
Very truly yours,
Frank Greenwalt

This was both an unexpected shock and a time of remembrance. Brother Bill and I shared many good times with Jerry at Handley High School. I especially enjoyed the 50th anniversary of the Class of 1960 and being a guest of Jerry and Tish. Jerry was a great cook! Please accept my sincerest condolences. We have lost a really good man and a true friend.

We were shocked and deeply saddened to hear of Jerry's passing. There are no words to adequately convey our heartfelt sympathy to you and your family. Jerry was a special person and a friend of my youth. We hope that some quiet times come your way soon to comfort your spirits. Say not in grief he is no more' but in thankfulness that he was.
With sympathy, Dick and Patty Ryan
