Kevin "K.G." Miller

Kevin Gray "K.G." Miller, Jr., 58, of Harrisonburg, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2025. Mr. Miller was born, October 5, 1966, in Charlottesville and was the son of Frances Thompson Miller and the late Virginia State Senator Kevin Gray Miller, Sr. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Lora Gail Miller and Stephanie Miller Schaefer. K.G. graduated from Harrisonburg High School and attended James Madison University. He was employed in food service throughout his working career, most recently at Hank's Grille and Catering. He previously managed at Boston Beanery and worked at several restaurants in the Harrisonburg area. K.G. spent much of his time shooting pool at Gold Crown Billiards where he enjoyed the camaraderie. He also had great affinity for music and watching NASCAR. He is survived by his mother, Frances of Woodstock; aunt, Judy Litten of Woodstock; brother-in-law, Jay Schaefer of Waynesboro; uncle, I. Clinton Miller and wife, Linda; aunt, Diane Warren and husband, Bill, all of Woodstock; uncle, Franklin Miller of Strasburg, and many extended family members.

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m., Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Kyger Funeral Home in Harrisonburg with Pastor Rachel Hamburger officiating. Interment will be at Eastlawn Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made in Kevin's memory to McGaheysville Fire Department, 80 Stover Drive, McGaheysville, VA 22840.
