Ladema Hinchee Obituary
Ms. Hinchee was born July 1, 1928, in North Carolina, daughter of the late Ralph L. and Lola Hoppes Haney. She was a member of the Woodstock Presbyterian Church.
She is preceded in death by her spouses, Harry Crowder, Claude Green, and Jim Hinchee; brothers, Ralph Haney Jr., Denver Haney, and William Haney; sisters, Ruby Draper and Alene "Dockie" Anderson; son-in-law, Michael Pace; and her granddaughter, Leigh Brill Singh.
She is survived by her daughters, Susan Crowder Brill (David) of Maurertown, VA, Debora Crowder Swecker (George) of Woodstock, VA, Mary Green Stock (Carl) of Richmond, VA and Nancy Hinchee Pace of Salem, VA; sons, Bill Green (Claire) of Corte Madera, CA and Bodo Stock of Glen Allen, VA; grandchildren, Courtney Brill of Maurertown, VA, Pranav Singh of Roanoke, VA, Brian Swecker (Courtney) of Chesterfield, VA, David Swecker (Karen) of Winchester, VA, Alexis Graziose of San Rafael, CA, Maggi Pace of Salem, VA and Cate Pace Golden (Kyle) of Charlotte, NC; and great grandchildren, Allen Brill, Kate Swecker, George Swecker, Samuel Swecker, and Dahlia Graziose.
Dickie will be remembered as a resilient and joyful soul whose beautiful smile could light up any room. Through life's challenges, she remained a source of strength and positivity for everyone fortunate enough to know her. Dickie's unwavering optimism and kind spirit left a lasting impact on friends, family, and all who crossed her path. Though she may no longer be with us, the warmth of her presence and the joy she brought to others will live on in our hearts.
The family would like to thank the staff of The Warren Senior Living and Blue Ridge Care (Hospice) for the care and compassion that they showed Dickie and her family.

Earlier today
I got to know Dickie when I volunteered at the Shenandoah Memorial Hospital. She was always full of love and cheer. Her positivity rubbed off on all she was involved. Her family was truly blessed. I am grateful for having to spent time with her and to know some of her family members. My prayers are with all of you for strength, and peace during this time of loss here on earth. Carol
