Lois Jimenez Obituary
Lois May Miller Jimenez was a caring daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She passed away at her home surrounded by family on March 6, 2022, at the age of 90.
She was born to Melvin and Edna Miller of Jerome, VA on January 29, 1932. After graduating from Triplett HS, she went to work in Washington D.C. where she met her military husband, Horace Jimenez. Together they traveled the world and had four children: Rhonda Smith of Winchester, Yvonne (Keith) Fravel of Woodstock, Dwayne (Vicki) Jimenez of Strasburg, Vincent (Cheryl) Jimenez of Edinburg.
Lois loved and enjoyed her church and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband of 66 years, sister Bonnie (Jim) Coffman, brother Houston (Emogene) Miller. Surviving are her 4 children and their spouses, 11 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren, 2 sisters Gloria (Max) Bowers and Carolyn (Charles) Brinker, and 1 brother Dean (Carolyn) Miller, many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service is scheduled for Sunday March 13, 2022, at 3:00pm at St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Jerome, VA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Coy Jimenez, Cohen Jimenez, Colton Jimenez, Jared Fravel, Cayden Combs, Cole Mantz, and Brandon Landes.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Jason Fravel and TSgt USAF Garrett Jimenez.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 4109 Jerome Rd., Edinburg, VA 22824.

Arrangements are in the care of Heishman funeral Home Inc, Valley Funeral Service Branch, Edinburg.

Aunt Lois is a woman with strength, kindness, intelligence and, style. I never heard her raise her voice or be unkind to anyone. She put her family first before herself. She will always be forever the most beautiful woman and someone that I admire for the rest of my life.
