Maxine Mae Fadeley Mauck was called to her Heavenly home, Friday, October 15, 2021, at her daughter's home surrounded by her loving family.
Maxine was born July 17, 1934, in Linden, VA. She was the daughter of the late Cecil Fadeley, Sr., and Cleta (Good) Fadeley.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Melvin (Pete) Fred Mauck.
She is survived by a daughter, Dianne (Mauck) Funkhouser and her husband, Richard Funkhouser, Sr.; two grandchildren, Richard Funkhouser, Jr. and his wife, Amy, and Jennifer and husband, Dwayne; three great-grandchildren, Butchie Funkhouser, Shayla Funkhouser, and Grant; one sister, Roma Loy and three brothers, Gordon Fadeley and wife, Evelyn, Galen Fadeley and wife, Judy, and Garland (Dean) Fadeley and wife, Cindy; and many nieces and nephews.
Maxine was preceded in death by her sister, Shirley Helsley and brothers, Richard Fadeley, Wayne Fadeley, Cecil Fadeley, Jr., Linden Fadeley, Kenneth Fadeley, Boyd Fadeley, and Larry Fadeley.
Maxine was a member of Antioch Church of the Brethren. She taught children in Sunday School for many years which she always said she felt God had called her to do.
Her place of employment, for many years, was at Blue Bell, Inc. in Woodstock. She enjoyed doing custodian work at the church, with her loving husband, also for many years.
She enjoyed spending time with all her family every chance she got.
Her hobbies were sewing, mowing, playing piano, and singing.
She is now reunited in Heaven with the love of her life.
Pallbearers will be Ricky Mauck, Ryan Edwards, Andy Fadeley, Matthew Edwards, Billy Fadeley, and Mike Fadeley.
Honorary Pallbearers are Joey Edwards and Tony Fadeley.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at 11:00 AM at Antioch Church of the Brethren in Woodstock. Pastor George Bowers will officiate. Burial will follow in Columbia Furnace Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 AM, Wednesday at the church.
