UPCOMING SERVICE
Nancy Chapman Obituary
A memorial service will take place at 2:30 P.M. on Sunday, November 23, 2025 at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 W. Main Street, Front Royal 22630 with Reverend Bertina Westley officiating. A visitation will take place three hours prior to the service. Following all services the interment will take place at Prospect Hill Cemetery.
Nancy was born on September 29, 1944 in Front Royal, Virginia to the late John Walter and Esther Kipps Hoskins Gore. She is also preceded in death by her son, Brian Neal Chapman.
Surviving Nancy is her loving husband of 62 years, Douglas Lee Chapman; and her three nieces, Lynn Jenkins, Sharon Cabiness, and Pam Scott.
Nancy retired from the United States Army Corps of Engineers and also worked for the phone company and FEMA. She was a member of Stephens City United Methodist Church.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Blue Ridge Hospice 333 W Cork Street, #405, Winchester, Virginia 22601.
