Patricia Anne "Patti" Mullin

Patricia Anne "Patti" Mullin, 68, of Strasburg, VA passed away Wednesday, February 8, 2023 at her home in Deer Rapids.

A service and Celebration of Life for Patti will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Stover Funeral Home.

Patti was born on September 22, 1954, the daughter of Capt. James Mullin and the late Marjorie Anne Mullin. She graduated from Syracuse University and received her MBA from George Washington University. Patti worked and grew through the evolution of the phone company, from AT&T to Lucent Technologies, to finally retiring with Avaya continuing to learn and adapt as Ma Bell spun off various subsidiaries. From there she also worked in real estate, Hallmark Cards, and Pot Town Organics

Patti's true passion was traveling the world and meeting the people in it. She never met a stranger and has friends from every walk of life. Some of the places she visited include Ireland, Russia, China, Thailand, Italy, France, Spain, and New Orleans just to name a few. Her most recent adventures were in Costa Rica where she and her husband had planned to retire. She truly fell in love with Costa Rica and its people. Patti's love of life had many interests from music, spicy food to baby animals and even a good dirty joke and of course we can't forget chocolate! Patti will be missed by many. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her dogs Winston and Mr. Bogart.

Survivors include her husband, James A. Evans; her sister, Nancy Mullin Levine; her father Capt. James Mullin; her niece Molly Rose Levine; her nephew, Andrew Levine and her always famished dog, Bela'.

The family would like to thank Blue Ridge Hospice for their compassion and care during her final days. They truly do Angel's work.
