Phyllis Worsley Fravel's soul entered heaven on October 3, 2021 at the age of 92. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Williams Fravel, of 57 yrs.; sister Jayne Foltz, great grandson Fisher Fravel, parents Hubert and Mary Anna Worsley, in-laws Mary Ann Fravel and Charles Norville.
She is survived by her children and their families: John W. Jr. and Andrea Fravel, Philip H. and Suzi Fauquier Fravel, Myra (Fravel) and Mike Whitener; John W. III and Tanya Fravel, Anna Fravel and Jake Askins; Nicholas T. and Michelle Fravel, Lilly and Levi Fravel; Charles and Caitlin Curtis, Hazel Curtis; Jacqueline Curtis; Jesse M. and Jeri Whitener, John Gabriel Whitener; sister Patty VanDeGriek; brothers-in-law Albert VanDeGriek and Randolph Foltz; many precious friends, cousins, nephews, and nieces.
Phyllis was happy to serve her savior as a wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and Aunt. She said, "God has blessed me mightily".
A celebration of her life and interment will be at Zion Christian Church in Maurertown on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at 1 pm. The service may be seen on their facebook page. Memorial contributions may be made to Zion Christian Church.
