Robert Orndorff Obituary
Robert Lee "Squeaky" Orndorff 77 of Woodstock, VA and formerly of Toms Brook, VA passed away Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at the Blue Ridge Hospice Inpatient Care Center, Winchester, VA.
A celebration of life service for Squeaky will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 5, 2022, at the Round Hill Church of the Brethren with Pastor Beverly Funkhouser officiating. Burial will follow in the Harrisville Cemetery.
Friends are welcome to stop by the Orndorff's home any time to express condolences.
Mr. Orndorff was born in Woodstock, VA on December 18, 1944, a son of the late Philip Arthur Orndorff, Sr. and the late Maddie May Good Orndorff. He was a life member of the Round Hill Church of the Brethren where he served as a Trustee, member of the Church Board, Jr. High Sunday School teacher, member of the choir, and served as a member of the Cemetery Board. The members of Round Hill COB dearly loved Squeaky. Mr. Orndorff graduated from Strasburg High School and worked as a welding fabricator for Agritech for over 30 years and then worked for Shenandoah Memorial Hospital for 10 years. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers Jerry Orndorff, Jack A. Orndorff, Sr., and Curtis Lake; a nephew Jack A. Orndorff, Jr. and sisters in law Patricia Orndorff, and Mary Lake.Survivors include his loving wife of 55 years, Gloria Jean Dellinger Orndorff; his two goddaughters Kim Spiker (Bill) and Holly Hodges (Jonathan); a brother Philip "Amos" Orndorff; sisters-in-law Janet Orndorff and Vallie Orndorff; brother-in-law Charles R. Dellinger (Pat) along with several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and a host of friends who will miss him dearly.
Pallbearers will be Andrew Orndorff, Steven Orndorff, Ricky Dellinger, Mike Dellinger, John Orndorff, Richard Walker, Curtis Heltzel, Larry Baker, and Gary Golliday.
