Scott Sencindiver Obituary


Scott Crim Sencindiver, 61, a resident of Strasburg, VA passed away Tuesday, May 9, 2023, at Skyview Springs Rehab and Nursing Home in Luray, VA.

A graveside service for Scott will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 19, 2023, at Riverview Cemetery with Rev. David Howard officiating.

Scott was born in Arlington, VA on April 18, 1962, a son of the late John Frederick and Eva Lee White Sencindiver. He was a graduate of Yorktown High School, an avid Redskins fan, a lover of dogs, and worked as a painter. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother John Frederick Sencindiver, III and a sister Mary Lee Sencindiver. Scott was a grandson of the late Rev. Dr. Harry Crim.

Survivors include his siblings Susan Procopio (Rocco) of Carolina Beach, NC and Steven White Sencindiver (Martha) of Reva, VA along with 10 nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Strasburg Presbyterian Church, 325 S. Holliday St., Strasburg, VA 22657 or Blue Ridge Hospice, 333 W. Cork St., Winchester, VA 22601.
