Tony Kenney Obituary


Tony Randall Kenney, age 59, went home to be with the Lord on January 27, 2025, at Sentara RMH Medical Center, surrounded by his family.

Mr. Kenney is survived by his wife of 7 years, Felicia Kenney of Timberville, VA. He is also survived by his mother Sandra Link (Tex) of Strasburg, VA; 4 daughters Jessica Widdifield (Ken) of Edinburg, VA, Kristen Kenney and Lauren Kenney both of New Market, VA, Madalyn Kenney of Timberville; 1 son Caleb Good of Timberville; a brother Jeffrey (Michelle) Kenney of Ravenel, SC; a sister Sandy Trump of Woodstock, VA; nephews Andrew Kenney of Ravenel, SC, Brandon and Blake Trump both of Woodstock, VA; nieces Jordan and Grace Kenney both of Ravenel, SC; a mother-in-law Daisy Riggleman of Timberville.

He was preceded in death by his dad George Kenney Jr; his fraternal grandparents Bulah Fravel and George Kenney Sr; his maternal grandparents Virginia and Courtney "Pete" Himelright; his nephew Charles Robert Kenney.

Mr. Kenney was a 1983 graduate of Seneca Valley High School in Germantown MD, where he made several lifetime friends. He was employed by Securitas, in Timberville, VA, as a security guard.

Tony enjoyed spending time with his kids, family and friends. He also enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved watching sports, especially Dallas Cowboy and Notre Dame football.

A celebration of life will be held at Life Point Church, 111 North Shenandoah Ave., Front Royal, VA, on February 8, 2025 at 2pm
