Carolyn-
It's been a long time since I last spoke with you or Walter, probably when we worked at ARC and I would say those memories are pleasant.
I did't realize Walter was had been ill until I read his obit in the papers, quite a shock to me.
I'm sorry I could not attend his funeral as I am battaling multiple myeloma, an incurable bone cancer, making my travels almost unbearable.
To you and your family, please accept Edie's and my heartfelt condolences for the loss of Walter. I'll always remember him as a Christian and strong follower of Jesus.

Ms. Carolyn, William, Jeannie, & Donna please accept my heartfelt condolences in the passing of Mr. Walter. I know he will be greatly missed as you all loved him dearly.
