Patsy Swafford Obituary

Patsy Alice (Keller) Swafford, Age 75, of Niceville, passed away on January 11, 2018 surrounded by love and her family. She was born in Sturgis Michigan in August 1942 to Joseph and Dorothy Keller. Patsy lived in LaGrange Indiana until joining the Navy in 1960, where she met her husband and married in 1961. Patsy is survived by her husband of 56 years, Ronald, and children TJ Swafford (Dr. Rhonda Ayers-Hendrix), Bill Swafford (Suzanne McCullers) and Susan Bouley (Dale), along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her brothers Michael Keller (Pat), Philip Keller (Maricel) and sister Martha Eagleson (Ross). A memorial service is scheduled at Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 1200 Valparaiso Blvd, Niceville, on Saturday, January 27th at 11:00 a.m. with a reception immediately following. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for any donations to be made to the American Heart Association.

I worked with Patsy over the last few years as an Okaloosa County Poll Worker here in Niceville. She was always a delight to work with and we'll miss her smiling face in Precinct 33.
