Robert William "Bob" Dailey

1935 - 2018

Robert "Bob" William Dailey, age 82, of Miramar Beach, FL went to be with the Lord in the early morning of August 6th, 2018.
Bob was born in Toledo, OH on Sept. 5, 1935 to Orville and Louise Dailey and had two brothers, Orville and Richard – all of whom he now rejoins.
He leaves his wife of 61 years, Phyllis Moran-Dailey, whom he married on June 7, 1957, as well as his four children – Jeanne Dailey (Jay), Michael Dailey (Chantelle), Deb Dailey (Myka), and Pamela Dailey-Ashley (Joe). He also leaves four grandchildren, Tiffany Edwards (Ben), Ryan Coletta, Alexandria Ashley, and William "Blake" Ashley and two great-grandchildren William "Henry" and Mills Edwards.
He attended Libbey High School and graduated from The University of Toledo with a degree in Advertising. Bob had two professional careers, the first at The Toledo Blade as a District Manager. After moving to Miramar Beach, he then served as an Executive Brand Ambassador for his daughter Jeanne Dailey's company, Newman-Dailey Resort Properties, located in Destin, FL.
Bob Dailey was a humble, kind, gentle man that found the good and positive in everything and everyone. He was very generous to others and never met a person he did not consider a friend. Bob was filled with love for his family and was most proud of his wife, children and grandchildren.
Bob's Catholic faith was very dear to him and he was an active member of Resurrection Catholic Church. He was a passionate ambassador of the word of God and teachings of Jesus Christ and the unconditional love that he shared made a positive impact on many people.
A memorial mass will be held on Friday, August 17, 2018 at 11am at Resurrection Catholic Church with a celebration of Bob's Spirit to follow at the church hall.
