In 1984 she decided to pursue a degree in photography, went back to school and soon opened a studio on Music Row and West End in Nashville called, Goode Green Photography. She quickly became a much-sought after photographer, capturing images of music legends, famous actors and up-and-coming artists.
In 1998 she and Jimmy moved to the beach, where she continued her studio work and expanded into the wedding photography business. She was consistently voted the number one photographer in the area.
Sheila was loved fiercely by her friends and family. She had an ability to make anyone, whether they were rich and famous or broke and infamous, feel listened to. She paid attention to people in her life, applying that photographic eye to everyone she touched in life.
