Born: November 13, 1944
Died: April 18, 2025
Betty Ann Pace, age 80, of Union, Illinois passed away on Friday, April 18, 2025 after a short illness.
Betty was born November 13, 1944 in North Dakota to William and Hertha Green. Betty moved to Illinois with family. She met Terry Pace on a blind date and they were married on March 2, 1974 in Marengo. Together they had four children. When the kids were younger, they enjoyed camping vacations to several National Parks.
Betty loved baking and cooking. She enjoyed watching daytime soap operas and Western movies. She was also an avid Chicago Cubs fan.
Betty is survived by her children, Damon Pace, Shana (Chris) Franck and Brent Pace; her sister, Pearl Gehreke; her brothers-in-law, Tim (Debbie) and Dan (Patti) Pace; sister-in-law, Melanie Robinson; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her son, Devin Pace; brother-in-law, Tom Pace; sisters-in-laws, Jean Pace and Sheri Johnstone.
There will be a visitation from 10am to Noon on Friday, April 25 at Marengo-Union Funeral Home, 505 E Grant Hwy, Marengo. The service will follow at Noon.
Interment in Union Cemetery.
