Brody Thomas Jacobsen, sweetest beloved son was born to the most proud and loving mother, Lisa Marie Jacobsen, on October 1, 2016, at St. Alexius in Hoffman Estates, Illinois and received his wings on February 11, 2017.
Brody was taken too soon. He passed unexpectedly but peacefully. The blessing that he was and the blessings he continues to give us are immeasurable, just like the love each of us has for him.
Brody will forever be loved and missed. His smile was infectious. His time with us was nothing but sheer love and joy. We take comfort in knowing he felt every bit of our hearts every day and will be watching over us all until we meet again.
Brody is mourned on earth by his loving mother, Lisa Jacobsen; and his big sisters, Hailey (10) and Aaliyah (6) Vinczen, who will forever keep him in their hearts. He is also survived by his Great-Grandmother, Margaret Murphy (n e Regan); Grandmother, Karen Jacobsen (n e Murphy); Grandparents, Brian (Cher) Jacobsen; Aunt, Marie Jacobsen, Aunt, Sherry Hanson (n e Jacobsen), her husband, Gary Hanson and their children, Bailey & Presley Hanson; Aunt, Diane Lenz (n e Jacobsen) and her children, Brianna Fleury and Landon & Ava Lenz; Great-Great Aunt, Donna Griffin (n e Regan); and numerous, very close, loving great aunts and uncles, second cousins, and special friends.
Brody is greeted in heaven by his Great-Grandfather, Thomas F. Murphy; Great-Grandmother, Frances O'Dette (n e Jacobsen); Great-Aunt, Fran Whittin and her husband, John Whittin; and is happily playing with his baby Great-Aunt, Christine Murphy; second-cousin, Bradly Moritz; and baby cousin, Blake Hanson.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 20, 2017, from 4:00 to 8:00pm at Kisselburg-Wauconda Funeral Home, 235 N. Main St., Wauconda. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 21, 2017, at 11:00am at Kisselburg-Wauconda Funeral Home with interment to follow at Wauconda Cemetery.

Lisa,
We are so sorry to lose sweet little Brody. He will forever be a part of us and we will see him again. He was such a special baby and so full of love and new nothing but happiness every day of his life because of you, Hailey and Aaliyah...and everyone that loved him. Stay strong. We light a candle every October 15th on National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remberence Day at 7:00pm for Blake and will now add one for Brody. So glad they have each other to play with as the wait to reunite with all of us that loved them so much.
