Carol Marie Nordbrock, of Crystal Lake, passed away November 13, 2025 at the age of 77.
She was born March 27, 1948, the daughter of the late Edwin and Eleanore Marie (Stieg) Kolb.
Carol worked in the mortgage lending industry for 20 years, helping people in the process of finding their new home. An avid reader, Carol loved to frequent Half Price Books, adding to her extensive collection.
Carol is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Wayne Nordbrock.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, November 18, from 4-8pm at Davenport Family Funeral Home and Crematory, 419 E Terra Cotta Ave (Rt. 176) Crystal Lake. The funeral will be held the following day, Wednesday, November 19, at 10am with visitation at the funeral home beginning at 9am. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Gardens West, Oakbrook Terrace, IL.
